Dr. Salomón Dayan Hanono

I firmly believe that the practice of medicine and surgery is a privilege, and as such it is my responsibility to treat all of my patients with the highest level of caring and respect.

In my practice, I have always tried to offer my patients, with the latest technology in equipment, and in soft goods, such us the best ankle and foot braces ( Aircast ), knee braces ( Townsend Design ), Shoulder, Rib and Clavicular Immobilizers ( Procare ) and much more, as with this, the daily living is much easier and we get the best results in the patients recuperation.
As an experienced physician with more than twenty years of experience in orthopedics I make every effort to bring you state of the art knowledge and techniques for the orthopedic needs of my patients, and continuing education is the key to providing excellent, ongoing patient care.

Specially trained in the Hospital for Joint Diseases of New York, together with my friend and college Dr. Walter Besser, and other good specialists more, to treat a wide range of conditions or injuries that occur in adolescence, middle age and later adult years. We treat patients with problems that range from broken bones, or fractures, to more specific conditions that require highly specialized procedures and treatment.

Orthopedic injuries and conditions can often be quite painful and debilitating. By reducing pain and increasing movement and mobility, effective treatment can dramatically improve quality of life.

Dr. Lionel Jaén

As part of our staff Dr. Lionel Antonio Jaén Marichal, a young specialist in Trauma and Orthopedics, he trained at “Complejo Hospitalario Metropolitano, Caja del Seguro Social”, in Panama City, the largest institution and mayor reference center in the country.

With great interest on up leveling his skills and for continued medical education he trained with great surgeons on the field of Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery at centers like Hospital for Joint Diseases in NY, Cleveland Clinic in Naples, Fl and The Miami Hand Center. To top it up he finished his fellowship in Barcelona and Madrid, Spain, having the great opportunity for training in both continents.

Today he treats patient both on public services and private practice at Hospital Punta Pacífica affiliated to Johns Hopkins Medical International.

Last but not least Dr. Jaén is continuously keeping ahead on knowledge as recently attending the annual Meeting of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery for which he is an international member and two important courses in Hand Surgery in Chicago, Il and Miami, Fl

Dr. Ricardo Ariel Gutiérrez Delgado

An important part of our team, is a young Orthopedist and Traumatologist, who has carried out his training at the Complejo Hospitalario Metropolitano – Seguro Social (Metropolitan Hospital Complex – Social Security), in Panama City; the center with major exposure and volume of patients from the beginning of decade.

With great interest for learning and development, Dr. Gutiérrez Delgado has had the opportunity to carry out his training at very well recognized hospitals, such as La Fundación Santa Fé de Bogotá Hospitals, in Colombia. He carried out a Fellowship during a year in the fields of Orthopedic Traumas of High Energy, Pelvic and Acetabular Surgery and Trauma Reconstructive Surgery.
After that he spent three months carrying out a Fellowship AO in the field of Trauma and Pelvic and Acetabular Surgery at the Rocky Mountain Regional Trauma Center, at Denver Health Medical Center, USA.

At present, he is offering his specialized attention to patients of Clínica Ortopédica Dayán (Dayan Orthopedic Clinic), at Hospital Punta Pacífica, affiliated to the Johns Hopkins Medicine Hospital.

He is frequently attending specialized Courses of Continuing Education in his field. At present, he is one of the National Instructors designated by the AO, organization dedicated to research, documentation and updating of fracture treatment world wide.
